Waking moments Voyager is threatened when the crew begin to experience a series of bad dreams, all of which feature an unfamiliar alien, and all of which lead to the dreaming crew member being imprisoned in Cargo Bay 3. Only two people are unaffected: the Doctor, and Chakotay, who is undergoing medical treatment in sick bay... Message in a bottle Discovering a narrow portal to the Alpha Quadrant, the holographic doctor is beamed onto a Starfleet vessel over 60,000 light years from Voyager. Finding the new vessel's crew dead and Romulans running the ship, the Doctor faces separation from his crew forever. Until he discovers another EMH on board...
